Brain on Strike
By kels • Dec 4th, 2007 • Category: Random StuffDo you ever wonder how you function after an all night cram session because you forget to study for a final and are still up at 6am that morning? The reason is your brain. That guy or girl is so very helpful to every up and down, to every mistake to every correction that is made daily, hourly, minutely, etc. Even when we are sleeping whether it is 15 minutes or 8 hours, your brain is still working. Don’t you think its time to give it a rest before your brain goes on strike?
Before a huge test, class, work, anything stessfull or that may cause anxiety, take five minutes to relax. Think of nothing, just sit and observe, not only will your brain get a short break but it increases function on both sides of your brain, so not only will you increase creativity but also logical thinking.
Which means you will be able to remember more during that crucial exam and be able to think more clearly when that hot guy from class stops by your work to ask for an application and instead of mumbling, and clumsily handing him an application, you could think of something more interesting to say.
